Post by lewismunro »

Hi,

I have a BX 16VALVE 1992, just under 120000 miles mot and tax, nice condition inside out, would like to know what it's worth, any idea where I could get this info?

Thanks

Are you selling or just after a value for insurance etc, does the car have a catalyst? Its difficult to see from the pics but is its tidy and are there any faults with it.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Looking to sale, car drives nicely but iddles up to 20000 rpm when started for about 20 mns then back to normal. Inside the car is perfect, like new!
lots of history well looked after. not sure if it has a cat or not.

Ok, if its tidy then I would say £800-£1000 is a fair price, there is a dedicated Bx 16v website too, they are getting rare now as most have been bought as donors for 205s years ago.

An easy way to check if it has a catalyst is does it say unleaded fuel ONLY on the fuel filler?
