BZ 19 TZi auto wagon for sale

Post by pindimar »

Just heard about a BX19 TZi auto wagon for sale on the Southern Highlands of NSW at Bowral. In the Trading Post:

http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotiv ... e&AdOnTop=

145,000kms Olympic Blue and looks in very good condition - asking $4500 negotiable

Auto - for those that like that sort of thing - that is the sort of thing that they like, as Jean Brodie would say.

Hi Gregf,
Did you not spot the TRi on the SAME SITE as your second post ?

Unusual Grey Leather or is it PVC seat covering which I've never seen on BX as the seller states:-
Seller wrote: The interior is also exceptional except for the front seats which are torn.
Also I've never seen one of the 'tacky' tailored dash rug's as shown in one of the photo shot's, can be all yours for £1280 GBP .

Complete with a perfect Tailblazer too !

:D

Tacky dash rugs

Post by pindimar »

Ah well RxBX,

it's all the fault of the sun here I must take a photo of the dash on both our BXs so that you can see what happens to them here. That quality French plastic just can't hack it - so beats me how they go in places like New Caledonia or other French overseas territories?? It's years since I've been to those places but last time I was there the average condition of cars due to sun damage (and humidity I guess) was a joke.

But tacky or not, dash rugs, as you call them do protect the dash panel from the sun. Funny thing is that the red TRi is in Hobart which has a climate not unlike the UK - well, Cornwell perhaps!

Shame about the front seats on that car, I bet it would have sold if not for that. Actually, that car has been for sale for some time, in fact.

The blue auto wagon seems a bit expensive to me, but it does look quite good from the pictures.
