Tyre valve covers wanted

Post by Defender110 »

Anybody got any of the valve cap covers for these type wheel trims, I've had the dumpy valves put back in the rims so I can refit them but I only have 2 covers. Any help finding some would be very much appreciated.

P.S.
I've got plenty of the shorter dumpy valves that don't stick out too far if anybody else wants some.

Defender, when I last checked they were available from Citroen. But I really would consider only putting them on for static display. They fly off easily and as yet I haven't found a way of holding them invisibly in place. :D

I reckon because they are so rare, you're probably best getting the one's off Ken even if they are the wrong colour & re-paint them silver, otherwise you might be waiting that long the car would have been long gone.....

Bloody hell! I thought it was my car - then I noticed the bumpers, are they the original colour?

I need one cover too please, if there's one going spare. I had planned to epoxy a little leather hinge to stop them getting lost...

Lovely BX (I'm biased though). Where are you based oilman (EDIT: Defender (duh)? I'd love to compare the two cars side-by-side, especially the exhaust note. I'm convinced mine leaks, but both the Citroen specialists I've been to say it doesn't. It does, I can smell it.

I'm in Medway.

Cheers
Steve

Blimey - I think I'll just wait until I can afford a decent set of Speedlines then.
