spares cache in the bristol / weston area?

Several years ago, before eBay wiped out all the local classified papers I answered an ad from a guy who lived just off the A370 near W.S.M. I bought a pare of 16v alloys that I stuck on the 8v Gti at the time...

I think he was a farmer but I remember a large, well organised barn full of BX bits..

Anyone remember this or know if he's still about with any parts.. I may even have his phone number in an old diary... This would have been around 2001 / 2002
