Me tooI would like to instal twin fans to my 1.9 diesel
I plan to do something fancy - but the easiest way is to buy a 2 pole switch to replace the single pole one that is already at the bottom of the rad - I've seen them on eBay - in fact I have one on my 'watching' list at the mo -

Drawing of twin fans using relays that may help.
Relays can be mounted on the vertical section of the o/s inner wing, just forward of the LHM tank to avoid long cable runs.

You could also include a fan run-on system with a fused direct feed from the battery by splicing into existing fan/s supply from R1. Then connected to new relay terminal 4, also linked into ter.1 ---coil +.
Fused battery + supply, into terminal 3. ....Terminal 5, no connection.
Terminal 2, negative/earth return.
Rather than connecting the + supply onto the battery clamp, you may find a spare spade connector on the main + supply terminal block, forward from the battery.
Relay coil should energise with ignition on. Then provide a direct feed from battery for fan/s run-on with ignition off.
There’s a section on the main drawing mod. Just install an additional std. BX relay on the bulkhead.
Regards
