dash rescue under way

Hi all

In the midst of the dash "rebuild" of the GT right now..and its coming along nicely..At this stage all work done wont be aspiring to restoration standard but more a cosmetic make over and revamp..

The old green lego dash had suffered very badly with dash board, demister vent and instrument cluster very tired. The dash panel and demister vents full of cracks, and unsupported on one side owing to broken bracket, ...instrument cluster cowling broken in 9 separate places, all the switch gear faded and really unsitely etc etc...

But fear not, my interim spruce-up now has the all the switch gear repainted in matt black, dash reskinned of sorts, brackets made up, and plastic breakages glued and re-enforced with metal plates and rods. So I'm now looking forward to it all going back in and enjoying what I know will be a great improvement on what was there. The overall look of the car is going to be a departure from original, but under the circumstances, it will either make do until I can source replacement parts (unlikely).
