16V oil filler hose

Post by Adrian (NZ) »

I managed to break the side branch off the oil filler hose on my 16V while trying to refit the FDV (age-hardened brittle rubber). The dealers here in NZ want $180 for a new one, which has to come from France. I wondered if anyone could find out the price for one in the UK, and cut out at least one middle man? The part No is 91 539 867 RP 1180 45.

Many thanks,
Adrian

Email this chap, Pete, he has had a BUNCH made up for the Mi-16, and is a straight swap for the 16v one-i have installed two already.

peteATfastfrogs.co.nz

They come in 3 colours, with new hose clips included.

Hey thanks for the great tip.

I'm after a few other parts: plug leads, distributor cap and rotor, and cam belt tensioners. Do you have any ideas on where to source these? I'm thinking of an order to GSF in the UK, but postage is expensive.

Cheers,

www.speed.co.nz -aftermarket supplier, but good as old rope.

just make sure you have everything handy for em-VIN number ideally, and specify its the D6C version of the XU9J4, same as the Pug 405 Mi16, you will get more options.

Also, even the likes of BNT etc can help- my old man sources all his bits from "Lins Autos" who are a franchise of "Shrodoco", a great supplier in Wellington. We got a complete top to bottom rebuild kit for my 16v from them, no problems.

Everything is generally still available, you just have to hunt, and be prepared to wait a bit!
