Would be nice to see this one go to a good home. I know there's a lot of prejudice (I guess) against the ol' GTI - being petrol an' all... but a good one is a good drive. Nice colour too.

What's he on about? Expensive and complicated 16 valve?!
Nowt complicated about them at all. Not expensive either with my current 32mpg average (38mpg on a long run).
I don't think I'll ever return to the diesel way (used to have a 306 Dturbo) as I prefer a higher revving engine and hate turbo lag!
