Care to elaborate...?JayW wrote: Much additional powah can be gained...
Does the extra power come at the expense of extra smoke/worse fuel consumption?

The earlier comment about the injectors is correct, they would also need to be changed to match.
I *believe* the extra power comes from the increased fuel delivery (as the Bosch is far more adjustable).
Doc got his up to somewhere around 140bhp with the additional T3 swap but the engine eventually got upset at his power crazed ways, developed a tumour and died... (though reincarnation is likely)...
Best person to brain-pick is the man himself, borrow a couple of brain cells so-to-speak, but go easy, i don't think there's much left...

I have zero patience for your tedium.

This may be useful...
I didn’t actually swap the pump but have fitted the 1.9 turbo engine from a Xantia, which happily came with a Bosch pump. A lot easier to adjust but of limited benefit unless you adjust the boost to suit.
More power = more smoke although with perhaps more careful set up of the pump and less boost than I have this could be minimised…the other reason for the swap would be veg oil compatibility.
