Well, if anyone gets it to break up, I'll be interested in the 'tailblazer' bit - I've wanted one for a while... £££ waiting

I like the bit about 'gas orbs'!

Seen those Tailblazer things doing good money on eBay. I couldn`t fix the car myself but I reckon that` s good prospect for someone with the mechanical abilities to repair.
Even if it was just bought and fixed to smoke round in until MOT went then sold on for spares/repairs it`d probably be worth it if the price is right.

It's very close to where I live - but I don't trust a listing that's entirely in CAPITAL LETTERS. Maybe it's just me, but I've seen too many badly spelt/punctuated in capital letters, or in huge coloured bold type all lower case...

In my Garage I have a 306 Dturbo engine and gearbox, and a TZD head/cam, If the weather were warmer I could feel a project coming on :D

Well its really a spare motor for my BX in case I get a rush of blood to the head and go dialling in 20psi of boost in a vain effort to keep up with Vanny :D then again I could just carry on in cruising mode, switch on the underbody green neons (dont show LHM leaks) slide back in my leather seats, stick on some blingin choons and drive endlessly around the town centre, then again maybe not

Bummer... Whilst I could tow the car home and fix the engine over a weekend, With 10 (!) vehicles on the driveway, including a fairly huge van and a Forward Control Landrover, my landlord (who lives next door) is beginning to have a bit of a sense of humor failure.

One of the vehicles in the way at the moment is the rattiest 1989 19DTR you ever saw. Whilst I know it's a pile of poo, I'm loathed to have it squashed. The engine/box are spot-on, and the suspension is smooth and silent. Do I bin it and get the TZD?

David, sell the DTR on (or give it away for spares/repairs to someone who might do it up) and get the TZD.
Failing that I`m sure you could get enough parts free/very cheap to do the DTR up with yourself and then sell it?
