92' TZD turbo for sale *SOLD*
92' TZD turbo for sale *SOLD*
As I'm tired of giving 2/3 of the car budget to the insurance my white TZD turbo is for sale. It has done 183200 miles and has this summer transported me and my dog through europe as far as estonia without any problems.
The good:
Interior is in good good condition (i will give it a good clean but there might still be a few dog hairs).
Engine and gearbox very good
Mot'd till october 29th, Taxed till february
New tires in march (continental EcoContact3) have done around 7000 miles
Mechanic bills for handbrakecables, wheel bearing and a front to rear pibe from 2010
Has since may 2009 had new discs and pads all round, new front spheres, and regular service including hydraincage (spelling?) flush.
It has aircon
The not so good
aircon dosn't work. former owner told me it just needed a refill. I was quoted 250 to have it converted to a modern/legal type of fluid
Some rust by the rear doors.
Rustholes in both sides in support frame by the rear wheels, which will need welding before MOT. Mechanich said in the region of £350 to sort out rust for MOT.
Occasionally a very small hydraulic leek just in front of rear os wheel.
Price £300 or p/x with a-series citroen
That's the info to my best knowledge. Any question please ask and I will answer as good as I can.
Edit: Car is in Huddersfield

That'll be the chassis legs then!
I assume both sides are the same?
If there's no other major rot issues then thats not a huge problem to deal with. Especially since I have a scrapper BX up in the air with good chassis legs!
Drop the subframe out of this, chop both legs off, glue t'other legs on, A steady weekends eork.
Shame I dont have any spare time!

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Out of interest (sorry to thread hi-jack)
my BX has a hole in the rear chassis leg on the o/side. Its about half the size of a 5 pence coin. Now to me thats not much to worry about but its due an MOT in 4 weeks i thought id ask if anyone knows for sure if its an MOT fail.
(im assuming its fail due to its location etc)
If its not its going straight down to the test centre
