My 2 SORNED BXs are still available in Colchester. I did have an interested party, but they seem to have dropped out. If they are still interested; please let me know !
Regular visitors to the Forum will already be familar with my 2 BXs.
One is a D reg 17RD in iris blue; the other a J reg Meteor.
Both are non runners and are available as complete cars only, for spares or repair. Whoever takes them would have to arrange their own collection.
I want rid of these 2 cars, but don't want to cart them away for scrap, as they would be of use to BX enthusiast(s) somewhere.
Offers are invited. I would happily give both cars away for free.
John Podgorski/jrdpod.

They are indeed, hat off to JRPod for trying to find new homes, but I imagine they will be on there for a very long while as they are sadly not worth doing.jacksun1987 wrote:Are they the ones on car and classic. They have been on there ages now. Must be coming on a year.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
Hello Guys, thanks for your replies.
My argument for offering these BXs is that at the very least they will yield spare parts for projects/better BXs.
If I were to just cart them away for scrap, a selection of spare parts would be lost to the BX enthusiast movement. As BXs are now so rare, I'd say that you wouldn't neccessarily find it easy to get BX spares from either a car breaker or a Citroen dealer.
If it comes to the crunch, I might even consider getting the cars back to at least MOT condition using my own network.
In the meantime, I will still offer them to the wider enthusiast fraterninty.
If I did send them for scrap, it wouldn't surprise me if someone then said, "why did you do that, I could have got some useful parts off that car".
I rest my case.
Regards
John/jrdpod.

you are to be commended with your dedication here mate.
If I had the time and space to dismantle them I would, but I have 3 more BX's to destroy already, and no more room at the inn.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
