Hi Tim
I think spending more on a number plate than the car is a definate NO NO!!!!!!!!.
Still it would be good.

I had to invest an extra €5 down the registration office to get my number. The KN prefix is the area and every local plate has it. I wanted BX 1 but someone else has got it..

I guess its how much you pay really. With car specific plates then your limited, if its your name or initails (like mine) then you can keep them ad infinitum.

I have to make a small confession i do have a plate on retention at the DVLA
It is M17 GTR for my skyline but that did cost less than the car.
I must admit i like the 16V number that is cool 8)
Todd i had forgot your number but now having seen it again it's the Dog's.

£720 all-in. Which, in theory was more than the car was probably worth. But, still a bargin!

Thankyou. A friend gave me the Citroen Accessories catalogue from 1986 last week and there was a pic of a car that could have been mine. I think that's what the original owner did - just opened the catalogue and ordered every stick on extra that was available. It's a veritable time capsule!

Here it is at the TÜV almost two years ago. Hopefully in a couple of weeks that will be my yellow break on the ramps there being inspected. Then this one will be stored and restored and hopefully be eligible for its 'historic status' in four and a half years.
