Glad to see the Back of 2010!

Post by richardd1652 »

Well what a crap year this has been. Firstly just after the Christmas break /new year my Mother in Law who had been feeling really badly was diagnosed with Terminal cancer and was given a few weeks if she didnt try Keemo ,this really knocked us all for 6 as i am really close to my parent in laws. She responded well but after 6 weeks of been in remission was told it was back again. So theve tried another type of treament which seems to be going ok(fingers crossed)On the bright side her treatment made it possible for her to see our second daughter arrive which has taken her mind off things a little.
Then i lost my job so have really had my back against the wall for the last few months especially with Christmas coming and everybody chasing me for money, its been worrying to say the least! Then to top it all my Dad was rushed in to A&E last week with chronic stomach pains and had to be operated on immediately and they found Kidney stones.Hes now back home and doing well.
Thankfully ive just started a new job and although its slow at the moment should pick up speed after the Crimbo festivities are over.
Roll on 2011.And im looking forward to seeing everybody at next years CCC Meetings.Merry Christmas and Happy new year .
Richard.
