This is an interesting Top Gear feature from 1991 - a thin J Clarkson presenting - on Diesels featuring the XM and BX.

and today he would be happy to drive one in to a wall, drop a piano on or set fire.....
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Hmmm - I'm not sure :-) I think that was an Activa he used for his 3 storey camperwagon (I'd guess on the grounds that nothing else would stay upright enough) - and he did rave about the C6 when driving it alonside a racecourse while filming neddys.

It was a CX - but still a good choice for stability. Shame in a way it go trashed though...
