Restoring Leather Seats
I have purchased a set of leather seats (grey ones) for the 16TRS from Oscar (thanks for the cuppa!), as you would expect they are a bit worn in places and need re-colouring, has anyone had experience of restoring leather, they aren't split etc.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Yes I've had great results using the Woolies kit, follow the instructions to the letter and you should transform them. Don't buy the Glyptone kit advertised in some of the CC mags you get rip off quantities for a lot of money.

the knack as i have discovered is in the cleaning of the leather before you colour anything.if there is dirt in the crack it sits at the bottom of the crack and pushes the leather apart like a wedge.small dirt at the bottom wider crack at the top so to speak.i use a soft nail brush and any proprietary leather cleaning product with plenty of clean warm water on hand.a vax to remove it all can be good too.once the dirt is out leather food will feed and close the cracks a lot followed by a good dye-two coats at least-and the improvement becomes noticeable. its laborious but results can be impressive.
