Hello BXers Im back

Post by Oilyspanner »

Hi fellow Citroenphiles, long time no post, a few of you may remember me, I went over to the dark side a few years ago, getting a Xantia and starting to ride motorbikes again, I am clearing at last the mound of spare bits that lurk in my garage, there is a lot of stuff there, from big greasy bits down to little switches and goodies, all BX diesel, once it is catalogued I will post it on the for sale section, in the meantime if you need anything and are stuck then drop me a PM.
Stewart

Is that Stewart Oily? Hello again. I actually saw a pic of you recently with your leather hat on at one of The Nationals and was wondering how you're doing.
I thought when I saw your post that you were getting back into BXs..
maybe?

Hello boys! Yes it is me, thanks for the welcoming words, I have been sorting out assorted half-arsed backups after going through a few computers over the years and I found old images from the early BXclub meetups, if anyone who attended those early meets would PM me I will send you a copy. The Hooligan was sold to a lovely old Gent from Ireland, he calls me occasionally and is driving and enjoying the car, Hi John if you are out there,
I sometimes regret selling that car.
I still have my old Xantia Estate battlewagon, running well, everything working, though looking used, it still drives well, I am in the process of clearing the garage and will list the stuff in the sales section, I caught a glimpse of the back wall today.

Hello Stewart and welcome back! Your old account is still active so I can reset your password to that if you'd prefer? Or is this a 'new beginning'?

If you remember talking to me at the 2007 National abut the 1.9TD swap, I have now carried it out and am very happy with the results. 8)

I might be wrong, but i'm guessing 'The Hooligan' was your BX. Where abouts in Ireland did it go to? There aren't too many of us here...
