Hello all. Due to second grandchild arriving this week my beloved BX14TGE will be for sale in about 4 weeks as part of the 'fleet' rationalisation... I'm still looking for 2 4x4's though :D

My BX - I think I'm the 3rd owner. It has full history. Only 53,000 genuine miles. Unmarked interior. Rust free. Long MOT & Tax. White. On speedlines. Wants for nothing. (new spheres all round, pipes all good etc...just had major service) Runs very sweetly. Loads of spares included in sale if wanted. Not sure how much but I'd rather keep it than give it away?? This model has electric front windows & electric sunroof. Decent MP3 cd/usb stereo fitted with bluetooth handsfree (separate microphone etc..) I have fitted rear headrests. Other than that it is standard. Everything works. Will take pictures later today if it stops raining and post on here.

A lovely economical and fun car! I will be sad to see it go but must make room as we have acquired a sensible car for my wife today. (alfa GTV also for sale now, then merc 300TE when 4x4 sourced, and also Jaguar 420G - not sure when though)

Any enquiries welcome as I want it to go to an enthusiast who will keep it up together and not ruin it. Not advertised elsewhere :wink:

EDIT - just remebered it is on new gti spheres (larger capacity and higher pressure) - standard ones also available

Hello - I was just wondering if the Speedlines make the steering very heavy at low speed? I have a set which I was thinking of putting on my 14.

I have to say I didn't notice any real difference. This is on 6J rims and almost new 185/65 14's at the front - this car does not have power steering but being the 'super leggera' construction it's not too bad at all. 5.5J rims on the rear, same tyres. The original tyre size was 165. I thought it would make it heavier too but they're still on and it looks great!

Forgot to say you will need the wheel bolts too to change over from the original steel wheels. Also unless you change all 5 you will need to keep a set of bolts in the car for the steel spare.....

I have a 4by4 -and I'm on the south coast.

I wasnt planning on selling -but could be persuaded.

The car -in store near Horsham needs a little work -but retains a family personal plate- which must come off.
To do that -it must be MOt'd and taxed in my name. After that -and the plates off - I'm open..

Its in store because i'm in no rush -but if you can think of an acceptable way of sorting that -I'm happy to talk.

Looks a very nice car, If your plans are to rationalise your fleet I would sell everything else and keep this :wink: :lol:
