BX Article in Classic Press

Post by Tim Leech »

Collected the TZi out of winter hibernation today, for a change there was a few other people who store there classics/caravans at the same place pottering around.

I took the SD1 over and as usual people here the noise of the V8 and stainless exhaust they come bounding over to have a look, I then removed the car cover from the TZi to swop places with the Rover, the guy in the next "bay" who has a very tidy SAAB 900 Turbo 16S commented on how striking the BX looks in white when its polished up and was all over it like a rash :D , I did the same with the TRS and GT which were parked either side (also under covers) and he was like a kid in a sweetshop, seems he had a 19RD as a company car years ago and waxed lyrical on how great it was and the most comfortable car he owned.

He also mentioned a few weeks ago there was an article in he thinks was Classic Car Mart about the BX which I missed??? anyone see it??

Not seen that, but The Green Tiger did appear in Classic Car Buyer last week. (Wed 9th issue - today is last on-sale date).

Ok thanks Ian.

If you look round WH Smith you can easily spend £25 a month on classic car magazines, I stick to PC but soemtimes pick up "Classics" or Classic Car Mart if theres something nice worth looking at. I dont bother with Classic and Sportscar as its a bit out of my reach!

Aye - not that I'm complaining. I'm working for four different titles at the moment! (mainly Mart and Buyer).
