Hi,Richard
Don't take this the wrong way (Just an observation), but Why have you listed the item as NEW ?

On E-Bay the NEW definition is normally listed against items for example as:-
BNIB (Brand new in box) or BNWT (Brand new with tags) say for clothes .
The E-Bay definition of NEW is :-
E-Bay wrote:Item Condition Definition:-

New
A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in the original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in the retail shop. If the item comes straight from the manufacturer it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details.

New other (see details)
A new and unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing its original packaging, or in its original packaging but not sealed. The item may be a factory second, or a new and unused item with defects. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections.

Re-manufactured
A properly rebuilt automotive part. The item has been completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part. See the seller’s listing for full details.

Used
An item that has been previously used. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or shop return that has been used. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections.

For parts or not working
An item that does not function as intended and is not fully operational. This includes items that are defective in ways that render them difficult to use, items that require service or repair, or items missing essential components. See the seller’s listing for full details.
So for a car/vehicle/motorcycle to be classed as new IMHO on E-Bay, I would expect to be unregistered and possibly no more than 10 miles on the clock or at most be dealer registered (To boost their monthly sales figures) and say no more than 35 (delivery) miles on the clock to be classed as 'NEW'.

Other than that as already said a nice/rare BX with low miles, I wish you luck with the sale and I hope you get a good price for it !

:)

Yes Tim garage/bodyshop sorted it. New owner has recently joined our forum(LLEBYAT) i think is his user name. Really enthusiastic car enthusiast of all sorts of stuff like a Trabby and a Wartburg to name just a few of many. Only lives down the valley from me so hope to see it running around.
