On the look out...
If anyone's visiting a Citroën breakers....
...please check if they've got a Synergie? I'm after the bit of trim that goes in front on the rear arch (passenger side); it'll be a grey block of plastic about 5" x 4"? And, if they're in reasonable order, a pair of weather strips from the sliding doors (the bits that stop too much water getting in between glass and door slot - some call them 'scrapers?')...

Thanks, Campbell, I am holding out for some Synergie ones - or a set of Synergie alloys, but they aren't high up on my list of priorities! The ones on there are brand new (the seller put them on) and although not 'authentic' they do a pretty decent job for now

May be of no use to you at all, but I have a genuine and boxed Citroën accessory for holding a bicycle in the back of a Synergie – slots in place of a seat rail and holds the bike upright by its forks (front wheel removed). Had planned to adapt it to fit the BX, but turned out not to be necessary in the end.

Well! Funny you should mention that. Would you believe I was planning doing some cycling along the Normandy coast one day?! But whether I will have the synergie with me at the time is not guaranteed... But I'll come and see you this year, in the Summer maybe, as I am planning a Normandy excursion anyway...
