This has really got the juices flowing...
I haven't had a BX for a year or two since I got gazumped on a valver I thought I had done the deal on, and I was pretty certain that an XM now better suited my age and bulk, but this is intriguing.
The seller's XM looks very good too, but that is definitely over-priced at twice the price of the BX.
Can't go tomorrow, the XM's having its window done and a service but I might try to get there on Friday or Saturday.
Tricky

It's running throttle bodies and an Emerald ECU which is why it looks so different... And with that amount of money spent on the head and throttle bodies, I wouldn't rule out it being a special bottom end.
The engine is probably worth the asking price to some 205 owner out there... IF it has been done properly - which I suspect it has

I like the fact it looks so stock from the outside - no shiny bits added. Bit of a sleeper with all the mods under the bonnet!
I wonder how someone could invest so much effort and money and then trade it in ( for what?) also it always amazes me there are BXs like this out there that are unknown to our allseeing BX Club eyes!

Nah, for me it would be in a ratty looking estate, with 19RD badges, but with Mi16x4 transmission underneath...Matt H wrote:That engine in a Mk1 16TRS would be just tickety-boo
