And you're keeping the C4 over the BX?

Great to look at and be in, but blinking awful to drive! That's partly why mine has only 8k on the clock and it's 4 years old this month! Oh, and they rust :(

Where do I start with what's not nice about the C4?

It's a love hate relationship. Steering is dull, lifeless and too artificial. Handling is safe but boring and will never bring a smile to my face. Suspension is, erm, non existant and bump isolation is awful. The slightest ripple in the road makes you think you've hit a pothole and ripped the wheel off. Spend most of the time looking for, and dodging every imperfection in the road which is definitely not a safe way to drive. And the build quality is pretty pants too. The rear spoiler was resprayed under warranty two years ago because the paint was falling off, and now I've been waiting 8 months for another warranty claim because the bonnet is rusting out and paint falling off the bumpers.

But on the other hand it looks great and I love the interior. The dash reminds me of being in a BX :D

But then you clean it up and it looks like this, all is forgiven... briefly.

I have to say in Citroen's defence that my other half has a black by Loeb HDi and it's much better at the bumps than the 1.6 petrol!

:o I think you might have summed up most modern cars tbh jayboy. They are all good in most respects, but are a bit dull, that's why me & wifey went for a cooper s, apart from the fuel bills its the only modern quick car that i'm remotely interested in. Drove a couple of the new shape clio's & they were just dull, nothing wrong with them, but they had zero excitement to them. I suspect that bmw's, mercs & audi's etc...are all in that particular camp inc the quick one's.

The BBR Focus ST with 350bhp that i had a drive in was fantastic & the performance was supercar fast, amazing & it was even comfortable, got back into the mini & it felt sluggish  I'd have one of those :D

Apologies for the hi-jack thread

Back o/t, thats why i quite like the bx, it drives differenty to modern cars, even in a n/a diesel i find it quite fun to drive & when tanking it around now & again its just good fun :D
