Rare lhd model, nice colour, another one bites the dust, hopefully might provide some useful spares & some specific lhd one's as well for the few owners who have one over here.

Very nice interior... Is it a Millesime? Always see tonnes of them in France.

Watch this space, Ive been in contact with the scrappers and he is willing to sell me the whole car. The car hasnt been registered in th Uk so it hasnt been registered as scrap either with the Dvla. Battery terminals have been removed(lead) .He,s ringing me in the morning with a value so fingers crossed he doesnt think its worth a fortune. He was just going to crush it if there wasnt any interest.
The French number plates were kept by owner as a keepsake but it has the french logbook and i know a place that makes genuine French plates. Just hope it can be saved from the jaws of the crusher in time.

Do them rds have the sligtly tinted glass. Or was it just the top modles. Like TZD GTI 16VALVE ONES

Spoken to the scrappers this morning and yes they are willing to sell it complete and have moved it to a safer area. Im going over in the morning to view it and hopefully agree a price(will take some pics) He seems to think it may be an "Ourane" edition? not heard of this ,anyone?

Ourane is the European Hurricane... I'd say it definitely isn't one of them, unless it's had the badges swapped at some point

I would say its a "Milliseme" which is the french Athena spec.

Especially rare too, the Athena wasnt available as a diesel in the UK

Went over this morning to see this potential beauty. It wont start,tried firing but with jump leads off the fork truck and no battery/terminal etc . The body on inspection is truly excellent apart from the usual sun fade to roof(no sunroof) but inner wings,door openings ,panels etc super.310000k on the clock so i dont know what that is in English? It has a towbar and there is a little damage/scuffs on the rear bumper due to this i imagine.
And you were right ,it is an "Millesime" edition.
Anyway ive parted with some beer tokens and she,s mine.
This wasnt getting crushed if i could do anything about it!
