Still awaiting to here more about the car, if the mileage is genuine etc.

Depends on peoples intentions as what they want to do with the car though.

UPDATE
The car is now MOT'ed, apparently it needed nothing. SO the vendor now wants £500 for it, which is too rich for me, but I guess worth it.

Will try and get some pictures etc.

Not for me, but out of interest, does it have PAS? And wouldn't it be a little on the sluggish side?

Not sure yet Phil, I doubt it, im told the 17n/a engine goes ok, but Ive never driven one myself.

Its worth £500 with the mileage all day long as long as its not a nail.

Not for me though, going to spend the money on the fleet!

Most if not all of the 1769cc N/A bx diesels were manual steering

To retrofit PAS would not be a 5 minute job, but by the same measure would not be overly difficult. As it could be done in two stages ie install PAS steering rack and steering column, and laterly connect it all up hydraulically

They tend to be a bit sluggish on acceleration, but once upto speed you wont know the difference between this and 1905cc N/A version.

my old 1.7RD had PAS - it was just fine once wound up, if a little slow getting there. I enjoyed the torque through the gears from 50-80mph - but it isn't a traffic light car!

Been to see this car today, its a BEAUTY! 24000 miles from new, looking round the car you can tell its hardly been used.

12 months MOT

1 OWNER!!!

No rust I could see

Body is lovely, no dents etc

Some history

Interior is prety much perfect but needs a clean

Tailblazer

Engines VERY sweet but took two attempts to start (glowplugs maybe)

Rear spheres a bit hard

Will need servicing etc

Valvecap covers are missing and the trims are a bit tired

2 rear tyres (probably originals) are starting to crack (MOT advisory)

No power steering

The seller Is a guy I used to work with, whos a bit of a wheeler dealer but honest.

To be honest if I had £550 spare (thats what he wants but I expect would negotiate) I would snap his hand off, its surely the lowest mileage diesel BX in the UK, if it was a TZD Turbo it would be £1000 more for sure.

Be Quick

Car is located 3 miles (DE12 postcode) from me so I am happy to help with uplift.
