BX Suspension Height

Whilst i was at Wetherby i had my suspension diagnosed as being too high & therefore it was a bit bouncy as it was hitting the top of the rebound in the struts.

Does anyone know exactly what height the front & rear of the car should be when the suspension setting is at normal height please? Not sure if there is any difference between the models & saloon or estate, but if there is, mines a 1993 1.9 N/A Diesel Saloon.

In my experience, however, incorrect riding height is usually not caused by wrong settings, but rather is a symptom of problems with the height correctors. Either contaminated by dirty LHM, or broken in some way.

Have you changed the LHM and flushed the system recently?

Trying to remember, must have been a couple of years ago i used hydraflush for a few thousand miles & then cleaned out the tank etc & replaced with nice green lhm. I have heard that even hydraflush can't get into every nook & cranny including height correctors.

I'm unsure as to why its high, might have been like that since i've owned the car tbh, however its been lowered today so i'll see how i get on & whether its now correct, i've not measured it yet.
