I am looking for a gearbox for my 1990 BX14. The codes are 2ca49, 2ca91 or 2cb48.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Eventually tracked one down in France. Hell of a job getting it back on Eurostar (seller would not ship it).
Just need to replace the rear suspension arm bearings. Ordered them from aepdirect, do I need any shims? Reading the DIY notes, don't these come with the kit?
Cheers Greg.

I take off my hat to you.

They don't come in the kit, but usually (assuming they haven't corroded to dust) you can use the old ones. Most of the tolerance seems to be in the arm itself rather than the bearing so the old shim should be close enough in thickness.
They are available from Citroen but are called wedges.

Ok, thanks Mat will try the existing shims.
btw Had to make a trolley to handle the weight of the gear box. Wrists are still hurting lugging it around!!
Cheers Greg.
