That was a bargain. Do you actually have a suitable BX to fit them onto Tim? Surely they're only for the 16v and limited turbo diesels?
It's quite strange someone is selling yellow ones in the Uk as they were never standard there.
Everything the guy's selling is priced to sell - I looked through his shop. There's some real bargains there.

Of course! If you ever see any on your continental travels Todd do let me know... I've been looking for a pair of those forever!toddao wrote:That was a bargain. Do you actually have a suitable BX to fit them onto Tim? Surely they're only for the 16v and limited turbo diesels?

There's an unbroken Mk1 tailblazer in it for you (or anyone) who finds me a pair of these

I'll keep a look out - am heading over the Channel in a few weeks and should hopefully manage a bit of scrapyard browsing! You can keep your tailblazer though, it may look a tat out of place on an estate.Matt H wrote:There's an unbroken Mk1 tailblazer in it for you (or anyone) who finds me a pair of these

A pair sold on Ebay here in Germany last week for €50 - they were listed for the CX but they looked the same to me.
One of the minor tragedies of that 'barn of parts' business last year was that I got literally a dustbin liner full of these lights - mostly the standard white but several yellow ones too. The bag unfortunately had been left outside or in a damp area somewhere near the barn for the last ten years and the lights were in a really sorry state - I think two were just about useful.
There is a new Mk.1 bumper available 100kms from here and if Mat F is anywhere near here on his tour something could be arranged perhaps? What wife wouldn't want to share the camper van with such a thing?
