dear ray,I wish you'd told me that the the headlights I paid you for were virtual headlights and not actually real ones which would physically arrive in the post.the phrase once bitten twice shy comes to mind.

rabbercelt - I'm not sure what's happened to Ray lately, but from my experience of him on the forum I feel quite sure he wouldn't rip anyone off. I do know he has said previously he has some health issues... so please be patient.

If you happen to be local to Medway, I could supply you with a couple of headlamps foc and Ray can replace them for me when he's ready.

Let me know.

EDIT: I see you're not that local, but the offer stands anyway.

I'm sure Ray hasnt ripped you off, he doesnt strike me as that kinda guy, I know hes had ALOT on his plate recently, I have sent him a message on facebook to get in touch.

Hi All

Thanks for vouching for me. I've only just managed to get the internet connected again, after the previous providers contract was cancelled out of the blue.

I've messaged Graeme to apologise, and to say that regretfully my brother has taken "all that BX shite" down the tip - including the headlights I'd sold to Graeme - without telling me, so I'll be refunding Graeme on Monday. If anyone else can sell Graeme some headlights (as his MOT is looming) then I'd be very grateful.

So apologies to Graeme for letting him down and keeping him dangling, and apologies to all for being incommunicado - the good news is that the new internet is cheaper and faster, so it hasn't all been a disaster.

Seriously, thanks. To not have the items he paid for, and then disappear off the group for ages I understand how it must have looked to Graeme, and if you can sort him out with lights for his MOT and I get him refunded on Monday (my bank is closed today) then this should go some way to making up for the disappointment.

It wasn't until I saw your apostrophe Phil, that I realised that 'nads is short for gonads. Such a sheltered life I've led.
