i've seen one that only lasted 40,000 miles! got either a screw or a bolt onto the inlet side that got wedged, nasty doenst come close, looked like someone had rammed a very strong screw driver into it at rather high RPM, oops
I disected it too!

Yes Vanny but thats you most folks make them last for miles, my mate the taxi fixer reckons some drivers deliberately kill the turbos by revving the motor hard to get the turbo spinning and then switching off so premature death can be hastened for them.
