Greeted by a couple of damp patches on the garage floor and disscovered yet again the Operational return (thats the one with the hose clip) has a bit of a leak. It seems the angle of the hose from the metal bit has cracked the seem of the pipe. Now this was replaced not so long ago by my local garage.
So faced with the prospect of another hours labour bill I took on the job myself and hit the snag of how to get the pipe back over the nipple to the HC.
Any tips because when I do get the pipe on it splits the hose again.
Meanwhile back at the rear it looks like that T-Piece above the rear subframe is also leaking so any ideas of the size of that before I take that job on?

It's not a big job to get a fresh hose, pull a 2,5 mm2 wire in place with the old one and then pull the new one in with the wire, cut the old hose close to the upper junction and make a connection there for the new hose. A plain fuel hose made from decent material will in my experience last longer under stress than the material used in the replacement parts you get today.
Same technique as in that exercise. Note also how you get extra space by pulling the engine frontwards.
