I thought that sphere may be flat but i have now elimanted this with two lovely new soft ones.
The car handles speed bumps no problem, but when the R/H wheel is asked to move up on it's own it seems there is some resistance compared with the left hand side which is very compliant and Citroen-like.
I *think* the strut is ok. When i press down on each front corner they are both smooth and soft.
I am wondering whether toe-out or in could effect this strange behaviour. That tyre has more wear along it's inside edge, although i have just had a ball joint replaced, so it could have been the play in that.
In general driving that wheel causes resistance in suspension travel so the rest of the car kind of pivots around it.
It is very subtle and most people would probably not notice, but you know, It's important to me! And i want to sort it out before my engine explodes
Talking of which i have found a suitable replacement in Yorkshire for some pictures of the queen.
