It does look quite bright in silver etc and with good history, as Paul says that wheelarch is an easy fix (maybe Paulw ould work his magic on it) so could be a christmas bargain for somoene?Paul296 wrote:They're like London buses! That one looks particularly good. The rear wheel spat rust is an easy fix. The diesel meteor on 74k is stuck at 230 quid so this will probably struggle?

Don't be blinkered to the fact it's a good history, one previous owner with lowish miles in the best colour for less than £200 with no reserve

lol Kevan , the perverse thing is my kids love bx's, iirc both the younger ones came home from hospital after being born in my 19 TRS and the youngest was the reason the TRS was sold to be replace by the CX estate.Defender110 wrote: It's a 21 year old French tin can that your kids won't be seen dead in and one is never enough!

two 8 valve gti's a 16 valve and a TRS auto ( albeit only for a couple of days) seems to have affected them in some way

contacted the seller to see if they had a buy it now price in mind but no luck,
It was more the logistics of collection than the price as if we could have agreed a figure , I could have picked it up Tuesday but the auction dosent end until Tuesday evening
