Dear All.
I have decided to put a Wanted Post, for some new parts I am looking
for, for the BX :?:
1/ Headlamp protectors. New Pair Only Please. :?:
2/ Front Bumper Trim. New Offside One Please :?:
3/ Air Filter Metal Clips. New ones. 2 of Please :?:
4/ Rubber Block. New one, fits on top of the front inner wing to
dampen the bonnet closing. :?:
5/ Head gasket set New set inc. rocker cover etc.etc. Please :?:
6/ Set of Head bolts. New ones Please :?:
7/ Heater Cable. New one, for Hot/ Cold control Please :?:
8/ Heater Tap. New one please :?:
9/ wheel trim Clips. New enough for 4 trims Please :?:
10/ Badge ABS New one for tailgate Please :?:
11/ Badge TXi New one for tailgate Please :?:
12/ Clip 2 New ones for the bulkhead ends of the centre
console Please :?:
12a/ Nuts bolts springs. 2 of each for the f/pipe to manifold flange :?:
and caps etc.
14/ Cable. 2 of Handbrake cables Please :?:
15/ blade 1 of 19" Rear Wiper Blade and Clip to hold in
onto the arm. New ones Please :?:
16/ Visor. Tinted New one for the sunroof Please :?:
17/ L/king W/Nuts New set of 4 inc. removal tool for steel wheels

18/ Road Wheels New set inc. spare of steel wheels 5 Please :?:
19/ Return Pipes. New Various Lengths of Blue Silicone hoses
to renew all the rubber return hoses. Please :?:

Strewth Vince,

thats one hell of a list, sorry i cant help.

However i would actually set yout wants a little less high and see what you can get in the next 12 months or so. Have you tried feebay or any of the usual suppliers?

I reccon you will have to do some of the searching yourself, and not relying on the forum to supply all of your requirements as its one hell of a list. However, i hope some of the fellow members can help.

If you'd be happy with second hand parts you'd stand more of a chance - I've got a couple of things on your list but not brand new.

Not neccessarily rash Vince but perhaps a bit optimistic though ime sure a lot of these parts can be found new[ more easily 2nd hand though] but i think you will have to do a lot of work searching for them yourself. Tim, [Roverman] bless him, seems to be able to find some wonderful stuff on feebay despite my searches which come up with bugger all.

Also, i think it will take you some time to sort the lot. Ime after Mk 1 bits as is Tim and we take the opportunity on feebay and other sites etc when they arise. Rember, we are talking about old motors now and new bits are scarce.

I also have a 1.6 petrol so if you find 2 of something, let me know.

The wheels on your car are shared with other peuegots/citroens of the same age, but as they are steel surely just painting etc would be better.

New wheels trims etc are NLA!. Wiper blades are an easy fit, I fit the aeroblade type with the universal adaptor, (£3 off Ebay)
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

I get the impression from this and Vince's previous threads that he has a passion for his cars to look as new so second hand just won't do. Unfortunately I would imagine most of the parts he has specified as wanting new will now be impossble to locate.

Hi Vince, A pair of the /\ for starters I spotted on E-BAY (£11.98 ) delivered :wink:

Also the same seller has a HEAD-GASKET SET but it states Petrol 1.6 '83-92 so I don't know if your requirement/spec. will be correct, as you state yours is a '93
