Gotta be the same one as this one - which had no pic. Wonder if crb ever did get an answer?

As Roverman says, it looks tidy, nothing obvious wrong with bodywork, so if it's sound and the engine, gearbox, suspension are all good and the interior and lights have already gone, then why on earth break it?

Ah well, my TZD day will come (hopefully at a time when I haven't had to lash out over a grand on domestic disasters in the space of a month, just can't afford to follow this one up tragically).

This could be savable if the seller will sell it as it stands, (Providing its not got 'Tin Worm') and if that is all which has been removed/sold off (the lights and seats) however as can be seen in the E-Bay photo the door cards have also been removed too (Hopefully the carpets are still in the car) !

Hopefully I should have available a set of smoked rear lamps and front indicator-lamps/head-lamps (Just hope that they removed the lights and have left the plugs in situ rather than cutting thro' the wires) ?

The main missing items are the seats/door cards which I have available that I removed from my 'K' reg.19 TXD hatchback, I also have the matching Black parcel shelf with the pull up blinds but unfortunately I forgot to remove the side/boot supports !

They are the Black velour with a grey stripe (Actual name 'Halley Velour'), albeit there not exactly the same material covering as the TZD turbo spec. ('Mistral Velour') they are exactly the same seat frame so are just as comfortable and they are in excellent condition too !

They are like the ones in Mick's Meteor (I hope you don't mind using your photo to show folk) !

Image

So if someone does want a punt at saving this TZD and you need the missing items PM me if I can be of help or indeed if your looking for a full replacement interior seat/door card set, but please remember that the rear door cards will have a punched out hole through the rear door cards being a TXD unlike the TZD spec. which will have the electric rear windows without the window winder hole, but I do have all the door handles and plastic surrounds !

:D

It would have been better to have done that possibly the first time you SPOTTED it, BEFORE bits came off it

Thanks for checking that, I feel better now about deciding that I wasn't even going to ask, because I had to be responsible and buy a new washing machine and get my plumbing fixed - and was hoping I wasn't going to regret it!
