BX accident protection

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Well, for a late 70's early 80's design we all know the BX isn't going to give that much protection but compared with some of its contemporaries - and some later cars, it fared - statistically - reasonably well.

I highlighted Citroens. The BX is above Xantia in the family cars section.

(I've posted this before - a long time ago - but thought it might prove interesting to newer members)

Same score as a Xantia, which doesnt say much for 10 years worth of evolution.

I know the BX fared quite well in its day , my dad stuffed one of his into the back of a Cortina and made a mess of it, the BX needed a bumper and bonnet.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
