Nice to see a 14 being preserved this way.

I spotted the extra stripes and lettering, but did the deauville get any other equipment compared to the TGE that was available in the UK at the time?

Welcome Peter - that a nice big garage you have - plenty of room for some interesting toys :-) - like the DS.

Hello Peter

And a very warm welcome to the UK BX club, your fellow bx countryman are also very welcome here too.

Do you intend to come to the ICCCR this year?

Hi Peter and welcome. I've often 'lurked' on the BXClub Nederland forums courtesy of 'Google translate' (you can get the gist of things - just!) so it's really nice to see you here. As Tim mentioned earlier it would be great to see some Dutch BXers at the ICCCR later this year - any plans?

Hi Peter,

Je ben bijzonders welkom op het forum. We hebben nog een paar BX14 eigenaren noodelijk omdat we zijn aantal overtroffen door diesel fanatici!

A nice welcome... :D

Mike ,the deauville is just like you said a TGE. Its VERRY basic actionmodel.I think the extra is only a back-screen whiper/wash.
I have not: elect.windows,powerstering,centraldoorlock,rev.counter but it cant break down.In Holland are a lot of Deauville's en Cannes in white.I hope this wil be enough info for you.

I cant come to the ICCCR because its a week after my holliday, but its on the list FOR SURE !!

The garage on the picture is not mine,i wish it was.
Its of a retired Citroën-mechanic,my car where there for replace the Octopus and Gasket(block-head) how do you write/say that? Maingasket?
Its a nice guy,i can help if i want,i did and also claening the motorarea.

Des ,there are here a lot of diessels too, the are very good so the will survive whit a high milleage,,but a member of the Dutch BX-club wrote in April 2011:
World wide made BX 2.316.234
In Holland 2498 incl.cars at showrooms/dealers etc. 04-2011 in 2001 it was 13000
2498 bx = 245 diesel
