Post by jim »

Hi Guys

I need a rear n/s door for a red estate, 1988, but any colour will do.

Anyone in Essex or the home counties??

Yes ! (Also front ones too)

The only slight difference is that some of the higher spec. models have a little grommet in the carcase (Adjacent to the lock mechanism) to aid the fastening/adjustment of the linkage to the micro-switch which gives the feed/signal to the 'Doors open' feature on the centre dash/console !
But you can still use the doors without the grommet hole if your BX has this feature, it just makes it a bit fiddly to connect up if swapping out the lock mechanism !
Alternatively, if a donor door has not got the access hole (and you need one) simply mark out the position/hole diameter and drill one in !

:D
