Hi guys

Just spotted this and thought it may be of interest to someone?

sounds a bit rusty in places and no mot/tax....though it is running according to the seller and has good tyres...wait shall i buy it and nick its carb

relax im joking of course

Edit: thought about this last night. I could also nick some interior bits, teh seats, the rear quarter lights and best of all those lovely rear seatbelts...thank god its so far away from me is all i can say otherwise it'd be curtains for this bx!!

This BX looks far too good to break. The rust looks like its at the point where you could postopone it with rust killer and hammerite for a good 4 years, but its the inner wings that seem to go so it would be interesting to see if they are OK.

The rust doesn't look any worse than my TXD, so it looks like a good buy to me. I wouldn't treat it with rust killer, it does need fully removing like i'm currently doing on mine, it only gets worse over time & then is much harder to sort out, the sooner the better. Nice car

16 Petrol with no MOT and not overly low mileage, shame but I doubt anyone will buy it.

Dunno, there seem to be a few more 1600 petrol converts around these days, & at these sorts of prices, if you only used the car at weekends & car rallies, then it makes more sense than buying a much more expensive diesel version.

These 16 petrols are nice and simple, drive well and this will have power steering.

Have to say I'm quite tempted by that. Not too far away (30 miles or so) it's just it's using the wrong sort of fuel for my liking and the (potential) MOT costs could be a killer.
