I'm in the same boat today - local car show on, but weather is gash. Not sure whether to bother right now or not.
TV thing looks interersting. Do we know much about it yet?

Re: Paul's polishin' blog
I wish I hadn't bothered to be honest; it's STILL raining now. I'm not sure when the TV program is going to be broadcast, but Ashley did say he'd let me know when he knew. A few weeks ago I got an email via the CCC from a TV production company looking for a white diesel BX for a celebrity holiday program. It was between Ashley's TXD and Phil's TZD - I couldn't think of any other tip-tip white diesels within the club - anyway, to cut a long story short, Ashley could get the time off work so he and his girlfriend got an all expenses paid trip to Yorkshire with a bit of celebrity action thrown in for good measure.
The program features Len Goodman (from Strictly Come Dancing), visiting an old holiday haunt with a celebrity in an appropriate car. Lisa Riley (Emmerdale, You've Been Framed) apparently, spent her childhood holidays jollying round Yorkshire in an old BX; sounds pretty good to me actually.

I didn't bother going to the show in the end. Drove past, saw it was dead and came back!
