Help at the X Rally?

Is any tech bods going? I know a bx thats attending with shot rear spheres an was wondering if anyone could lend a hand please? It's not one of mine I hasten to add!

I can bring my sphere tool and will have a new set for it.

If i go i'll tell you what to do, but i'm not scrabbling under anyone's car unless i really have to. I'd also take a hammer & chisel incase the sphere removal tool doesn't budge them.

I don't mind getting down and dirty, although I'd prefer not to be laying in the mud if it's raining. Can't commit to going until I see how much of a bashing my wallet has taken over the past few weeks, realistically it's going to cost me £100 or so.

I think our reputation is already sealed...

I wont be much help as it isn't an over nighter. Everyone knows the best time to change spheres is 2am after a good fill of beer, it reduces the effect of the oxygen deprivation when change spheres with the engine running.

PS big hammer for the win!

PPS you don't HAVE to have one, but a trolley jack and a big piece of wood would be nice to have. And something to mop up the escaped LHM.

I prefer to change rear spheres on ramps; you can crack them off with the car on high then drop to low and still have space to get underneath.

...and a good set of axle stands so you don't kill anyone when the jack falls over.

The best bit is that the little make-shift workshop was set up in the corner of NW's parade ground!
