Its interesting that it was originally a 1.9 8v but has a 14 badge on the back - The ultimate stealth speedster!

Looks like it's got potential. The grease nipples on the rear arms are something that has been discussed here but I've never actually seen it done. Sebring exhaust too. Someone put some effort into this conversion. The spheres look like old hand grenades dug up from a WW1 battlefield - might suggest something about the condition of the piping? No V5 either. Is that a problem?

Yes the BX14 badge is funny too but these days I doubt whether many people know what it means anyway. I don't have a clue what all the letters mean on various modern cars - it's all double Dutch mate. Bring back the horse and cart..

Did it on my valver years ago and they're still good (not that it's seen much use since then)

Ah yes, I remember now. It inspired me to look up this thread again..

Containing this quote from Jaba
I seem to recall he nippled up a CX first which was an easier job
I didn't realise there was such a verb : 'To nipple up' Sounds pretty pervy! :D ( but what a man does in the privacy of his lock-up..)

Dear JayW.
With regards to the rear radius arm grease nipples, I am looking to
do that on my TXi :) Pleiades will do it for me for £ 25.00 per side,
which is a very very good price :D But my problem, is that I am unable
to get the BX over to them, as it is too far for me to go
So I am looking to do the job myself. I am just considering the fact
that grease is good, but it is hydrscopic, absorbs moisture :?: so I am
thinking of filling it with oil as oppossed to grease, but I will need to
have a look first and see how I am going to do that :)
All The Very Best JayW

It would seem this one was bought for breaking:

Seems a shame that no one on here bought what was still a cheap car, if only to save it from being broken up just for the engine :( .

Spoke to Spooks yesterday, they are going to keep the engine and gearbox, the rest is up for grabs. Quite a few parts have gone already.
