Got one for a pug 309 D-Turbo, good condition, has the water temp sensor on the 'wrong' side but otherwise fitted to both the 1.9td and the 16v without hassle. Bought brand new and has done about 2000miles.

That was a damned quick response Vanny, thanks for that. However, had a word with Malcolm [Citronut] and he is not sure about it. Are the pipework fittings zackly the same including for the intercooler etc? I personally dont know as TDs are new to me.

Personally I would avoid connecting the intercooler to the radiator - it will only end in tears

All you'll need to do is extend the wiring to the radiator fan switch. 'Proper' TD rads now seem to be rare and expensive (and used ones probably a bit tired) so I think Vanny's option is worthwhile.

I have one lurking in the garage, rinsed out and put aside when I scrapped Hooligan1 looking a bit old but dry stored for the last ten years.

Erm, not sure what you mean about the intercooler, you should find it located on top of the engine, just like a 405 TD or a 309 TD like what this rad is from. Other than that i think there pretty much the same. The outlet from the bottom of the rad is slightly angled, making it easier to fit the big hose on, and there is an extra 15mm outlet which is normally blanked off, but then the valver has that too.

I can always russle up a picture if you can't find a better option!

EDIT

It's this rad, apparently it's 10mm wider and 10mm shorter, and i think it has a thicker core too.
