Up on ramps, depressurise , jack up offending corner , axle stand in place and remove ramp , securing pin removed and fixing clip undone.
Did not remove anti -roll bar as it was extra work but needed to get wheel lower , so I put some blocks of wood between the wheel and arch..
On reassembling it took ages to get the securing pin in
but managed it without getting too upset.And then a reversal of the ramp etc.
The worst part of the whole job was getting all the ' gear ' together outside and then putting it all away again.
It sounds though that you did not have both wheels hanging which is why you were fighting the ARB. This gave me some head scratching one time when having to change a strut by the roadside.
