Estate info please...

Post by JayW »

Can anyone with an estate do me a favour and measure the rear lamp clusters. Height, width and depth (protrusion from the bodyshell).

Many thanks.

Hi Jay, i have an Estate rear light cluster in front of me. It measures as follows;

plastic outer cover 225 mm by 160mm at the top, 180mm at the bottom by 60mm.

The backing plate is of similar dimensions to accomodate the reflector plastic and this is 41 mm in depth.

I have looked at all 3 of my Estates and the entire lot show that the rear lights are all recessed within the tailgate to a depth of 10 mm.

Hope this helps, if you need any more info or piccies, let me know.

Andy

Nah you would have to measure Ians in feet and inches and would need an abacus to do the calculations
