Call me picky (and this is not a dig at the Ruggs) but I think it would look better if they'd got the bits out from the driver's footwell and put a couple of caps over the front numberplate screws. Aside from that it looks perfect!

Ooo you perfectionist types! (they drove me round the bend as well!)

Absolutely amazing looking car. Top money, but I think it's getting to the stage where if you want a completely sorted BX in that kind of condition, you're gonna have to put your hand in your pocket. A new set of Hurricane decals wouldn't have gone amiss, otherwise it just looks like a straight GTI with 'etna' velour.

I'd want to take the rear bumper off to check for rust tbh, it looks ace on the surface, but what's it like underneath & in the hidden crevices. Price is waaaay to much, nearer to a grand & it might sell, but what do i know, haha.

2 weeks?
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

a BX Sport which is now firmly locked away
note : 'firmly' not just locked, but 'firmly' locked. And that Roller in the background! Has he been reading the 'How to be a used car dealer' handbook? Sheepskin coat anyone?

I don't know why Mr. Rugg - being a BX fan an'all doesn't hang around BX HQ. Was it because he got some stick about stripping that GTI of its leather interior a couple of years back? Incidently now available at a price if he can remember where he 'firmly' locked it away!

Well, he needs to make his money somehow, that Roller can probably barely get between petrol stations without a fill up!

That looks very good. An odd oversight not to include any under the bonnet pictures.

Out of my reach, I am afraid.

There is one if you scroll down the thumbnails list.

Be interesting to see whether it gets that £ - and how the new owner gets on with it (i.e. it's still an old car, what else might need replacing in the next few months?)

Not at all, sorry if I came across as abrupt!

If it sells for this, how many of us are going to keep this advert *just* in case of an insurance claim? "I know mine is a diesel, but it's nearly the same, honest, it's got the BX badge on the back, look"
