1992 TZD Hurricane - BOGOF - (E-Bay) !

Post by RxBX »

As title listing (J974 XEO) spotted on E-BAY the main one is driveable and you get another one included as spares (Okay its not another Hurricane but it is a TD)

YOU ARE BIDDING ON 2 CARS BOTH BX WOULD MAKE IDEAL PROJECT FOR SOMEONE WITH TIME OR IDEAL FOR SPARES AS THE CARS ARE RARE TO FIND.

HURRICANE DRIVEABLE OTHER IS NOT.

THE OTHER CAR IS NOT A HURRICANE BUT IS A CITROEN BX TD.

NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE.

ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL 07879471056
I wonder if a forum member is going to secure these ?

P.S.For Paul, so your TZD Hurricane is not as rare now, as this is the second one that's come out of the woodwork in less than a month (Link to the LAST-ONE) !

:D

Why do people put 'No Timewasters, please'? I have never read an ad that says 'Timewasters welcome. Tyre-kickers too. Feel free to haggle after winning the auction.' He he :)

you make a very good, and funny, point there, Phil!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

According to 'Howmanyleft', there's 17 on the road and 13 on SORN. I wouldn't swap mine for both of those (AND I bet they haven't got remote central locking! :D )

Just one day to go on this TZD Hurricane + one TD for spares and the bids seemed to have stalled @ £280 (With reserve not met yet) !

I wonder if its going to sell, BTW has any one been to view it ?

Bad advert, no mileage, no mot's. so unfortunately the realistic value = 2 x scrap.

Tim, Don't worry I have !
But I've only been reading posts last week (As you personally know why to) and added with some pathetic misunderstanding by some folks in the use of 'smileys' (which on my behalf there was absolutely no malice intended), I thought my time is best used else where than making posts here !

Therefore for the record, the sequence of events in reading/posting was as follows (So rest assured Tim, I'd NOT overlooked anything)

a) I saw the NEW posting for 'Hurricane' (J974 XEO) , which the reg. I typed into the SEARCH field (To find this OLD thread) which I then updated with :-
RxBX wrote:Re-listed on E-BAY

b) I then made the comment in Tim's post :-
RxBX wrote:Hi Tim,

The last time (J974 XEO) was listed it only achieved £280 (Reserve not met), for those that can't remember or ARE NEW to the forum HERE'S the LINK !

 If you include the reg, number (Like I tend to), when posting a 'spotted For Sale advert/E-bay listing' its makes finding any old forum thread on the vehicle much easier (Just in-case its been F/S recently or even a fair old time ago) !
