mmm, that ambulance would make a great 'alternative' work van - wonder if it's a n/a or turbo diesel - you'd hope if it picked you up it was a turbo!

I always had similar thoughts about using H vans as fire engines and ambulance - by the time you got there either the fire would have put itself out or the patient would be long gone....

At least those H van ones were smooth, especially the ones with the hydraulic suspension on the back.

Could be worse, when researching Land Rover military ambulances I found that the ones like mine were nicknamed 'Magic Marshalls', because the ride was so bad that when you loaded one up with walking wounded by the time they'd got to the hospital they'd been magically transformed into stretcher cases
