Hi. I've just joined here and was wondering if you still have this or if it's on flea bay? My rear bumper has cracks on either corner

,also not trying to sound dumb, but is there much difference between a 16v mk2 bumper and a standard mk2 bumper? Thanks in advance.

Yup, 16v bumper is pretty different.

the 16V bumper looks like the one in the lower picture in the posting above.

standard saloon bumpers are still available from forum members.

I'm interested in your Mark2 bumper because they're very vulnerable and very scarce and I think it's worth having one in reserve. It can be painted to suit one's car, white in my case. Perhaps you could let me know how much you want for it as I'm in Greater Manchester and delivery cost would be an issue. The one on my car is in good nick but the metal substructure is virtually all rusted away. What's yours like?

Hi all, I will collect the bumper this wreekend so we can arrange despatch.

Peter:
The steel bumper mounts can be replaced with blocks of GRP and aluminium plates,then they last forever. Vanny did a similar thing IIRC.
This is what I have done on my BX.
I can send drawings for these parts if anyone's interested.
I lso have one ready made set of these brackets which I could flog.
