I thought I had brought the right one off ebay and it turns out its for a MK1. Does anybody have a MK2 upper speedo cable that they would be willing to sell please. I brought one from GSF a couple of years ago for the 14 I had at the time. Of course GSF have changed their website since then and don't list half the stuff anymore. Unless anybody knows the old GSF part number then I might have half a chance. Thanks.

Aren't their different speedo cables for some models? Does anyone know which part numbers are for the relevant models? It would be handy to have this info saved in the tech section as a sticky for future reference.

I thought the difference was just MK1 and MK2. I can't imagine why any of the MK2 uppers would be different from one another. Standing by to be corrected.

The Mk2 upper cables are the same, it is the lower cables that differ for different engine/gearbox combos

Could be wrong, but I think I read somewhere there are different speedo heads.
I sourced a replacement cable, then decided to stick mine back together with self-amalgamating tape when I realised how much of a pig it was to change it!
